Yesterday, my husband and I went to American Furniture Galleries in Sacramento to shop for a dining set we saw in their ad. We had a wonderful, patient and knowledgable salesman, Jay R. He showed us all around as we decided to look at bedroom sets as well. The showroom, which was newly redesigned, was stunning. I loved looking at all of the decorations and art work. We liked the advertised set, which he priced for us, since we wanted additional pieces. It came to roughly $4000.
This review is just for the gallery, not the pick up process as I haven't finished that yet. We had been to some small furniture stores already, looking for chairs and a bench to match our dining table. They had a pretty great selection and we really appreciated that the customer service (we had Nathan helping us) was helpful without being pushy. He gave us guidance and helped us find what we needed to find but also gave us some time to look on our own. The only reason I would give it four and a half stars instead of five was the furniture quality- but it's very similar to other places of the same price range. All in all, we had a good buying experience.
Came here some years back. Looked at furniture, did not find what we wanted. Then, as we are walking out, this manager with zero professionalism and extremely cocky chases us out as we are leaving and babbling, " what you don't find anything you want? What do you want? There is no way you can't find anything here. We have it all! Want me to run your credit and see how much you qualify for?
