We recently had them design, create and install custom reclaimed wood countertops in our kitchen. Got an orange metal sawhorse for table legs, lamp parts, wood crates-the list is very very long.

They built a beautiful 11 foot live edge dining room table out of two beautiful pieces of wood that truly now look like one piece. Jeff absolutely professional in every aspect of his work, the man has a great eye for anything “wood” related!

With dark edges, detailed corners, and new hardware, this antique and classy piece gives a lofty impression. This project went a step further by adding a shelf supported by ornate cast-iron brackets for stacking fresh bath towels and drying wet ones. It matches the lived-in look of a farmhouse and it was built using inexpensive salvaged stair parts. Mount photos behind the wavy-glass divided lights and hang the sashes side by side on the wall. A shelf was created by widening the stool and the empty space above it was filled with a new mirror, instead of replacement glass. Donna painted the headboard white and attached a rack with hooks, transforming the headboard into a towel or coat rack for guests. Floral patterns were blocked out over the original wood finish while the whole table was painted white. A salvaged-lumber table is made to multi-task when simple red squares are painted on top to make a checkerboard.

Had them create a wall piece, and they walked around with me and helped me choose reclaimed wood, as well as fit my piece to my budget. I can spend the whole day looking checking out and looking through the salvaged treasures.

If you can’t build, they have carpenters, and they had quite a bit of stuff they built displayed and it was gorgeous.

It was such a pleasure working with them that we are already talking about our next project. They also built two barn doors out of reclaimed wood that we just love and turned a beautiful piece of walnut into a unique piece of art that hangs on our wall. This sweet country style hall tree was once just a pile of random dingy wood furnishings, but now it’s a salvage success story.

Now that you have some idea what the big leagues look like, do you think you have what it takes?

Making the screen is the easy part, you simply need to screw the hinges to the face of the shutters, rather than mortising them. The handle “hooks” are great for keeping hand trowels and rakes at the ready and for holding a sun hat. The fluted shaft and the egg-and-dart molding on the capital will add a touch of formality to even the casual entryway.

The cupboard drawers allow for an abundance of storage space, and the size of the cupboard provides plenty of room for office equipment. Please do not remove any watermarks, crop, or edit any of my images without first obtaining written permission from me.

The rustic finish is perfect for a family room — you can put your feet up, spill soda on it, not use your coaster – it doesn’t matter – it’ll all add to the natural, rich patina. The easy construction requires no miter cuts, no trim pieces, no dovetails, just a few rustic timbers fastened together.
